2 Big Product Launches to Get You in Gear this Bank Holiday Weekend
Can you believe it? A warm and sunny bank holiday weekend is in store for London! And when we say warm and sunny, we mean it. All weekend long. Forecasters predict this could be the hottest early May bank holiday weekend since records began!
The capital will be basking in 25 plus degree weather and bright blue skies. Coupled with longer days, this can only mean that the city’s gardens and local parks will be packed with Londoners enjoying a well deserved sunny break. And what would be perfect on this lovely weekend, a refreshing drink, of course.
The team at Trade Show Explorer has been busy these past couple of months scouring the best shows for all the new products and innovations. To give you a bit of inspiration for the weekend we want to highlight two significant launches we spotted that will make this holiday weekend even better.
Twinings Launches Cold Infuse Teas
We found Twinings’ new offering for the summer at this year’s London Coffee Festival. According to the company, the product satisfies consumer’s need for convenient and low-calorie alternatives to carbonated soft drinks. You add the tea bag to a plastic bottle, and in around 5 minutes you have a quick and refreshing drink.
Rose Lemonade
Blueberry Apple and Blackcurrant
Cold infused tea drink.
What stood out and what we liked about this new range was the great flavour combinations. They’re a little bit of a departure from traditional tea flavours which should provide non-tea drinkers with some good choices. The product is available in the following flavours: Blueberry Apple and Blackcurrant, Rose Lemonade, Lemon Orange and Ginger, and our personal favourite Coconut Pineapple and Green Tea.
Bottle Green’s New Cordials
The biennial Food and Drink Expo in Birmingham is one of the largest specialist food shows in the UK. It took place last month with record-breaking attendance. Bottle Green took the opportunity to debut their new cordial flavours: Rhubarb with a hint of Ginger, and Blood Orange with a hint of Bergamont. According to the company, the product is targeted to consumers who are looking for innovative flavour combinations, something we’ve highlighted in past show reviews.
New Rhubarb with a hint of Ginger cordial
These versatile products can be enjoyed mixed with sparkling water, but let’s be honest, it blends well with a bit of your favourite tipple.
So there you go. Two great additions to your bank holiday plans. Enjoy the weekend everyone!
